On December 2, during Morning Prayer, in the presence of the community, at St. Dominic’s Church, Camberwell, our Brothers Patrick Arahatara and Nicholas Tanau renewed their simple profession, vowing obedience according to the constitutions of the Order of Friars Preachers, into the hands of Fr. Kevin Saunders OP.

Brs. Patrick and Nicholas are both from Malaita in the Solomon Islands. Fr. Kevin commended them on their undertaking the challenges of formation outside their own country, and encouraged them to persevere as they journeyed towards solemn (final) vows and priestly ordination. They will continue their studies in theology and philosophy in Melbourne at the Melbourne College of Divinity. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue their formation.
